EXPO DUBAI 2020

Expo Dubai 2020 is the Universal Exhibition that will be held in the United Arab Emirates from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, the first of its kind to be held in an Arab country and with 200 participating countries. Many themes will be tackled at the Expo but the main focus is on:

PORTUGAL'S PAVILLON

The concept behind Portugal’s Pavilion is “A World in One Country” which, in essence, means the representation of Portugal’s multi-cultural spirit. Visitors can experience the traditional “Calçada Portuguesa”, the typical Portuguese pavement, while encouraging innovative foreign companies to invest in Portugal and contributing to the success of Portuguese companies abroad.

SPI - Sociedade Portuguesa de Inovação is an international consulting group with offices located in Europe (Portugal and Spain), North America (USA) and Asia (Beijing and Macao), created in 1996 as an active centre of national and international networks connected to the research, innovation and entrepreneurship sectors.

SPI will host a networking event "Innovation & Entrepreneurship | Synergies Between the EU and the UAE" at Expo Dubai on Wednesday, March 9th 2022, from 04h00 to 06h30 pm (GST). This networking event will showcase Dubai's vibrant innovation landscape and present Europe's entrepreneurial ecosystem, with the aim of exploring synergies between the EU and the UAE.
